The simplest way of dust proof conveying of powdery or small lumpy materials over a short distance is by Screw Paddle or Ribbon Conveyor. High speed cut flight screw or paddle with controlled water spraying in trough popularly know as Pug Mill is used for hopper discharging along with dust suppression. Screw Conveyors are offered in U - trough or Tubular casings. Adequate clearance between screw and casing prevents jamming and reduce power consumption. Large screws upto 12m long are offered without hanger bearing, as hanger bearings usually create flow problem and is a maintenance hazard. Our Z - path multiple tubular screw systems are capable of conveying materials over long distances around field obstructions and also along inclinations. These are particularly suitable for Retrofit systems. Screw flights are hardfaced according to requirement for long life. Bearing housings arrangements are self centering type or the conventional plummer block type. For Pug mill flow control valves are provided to control the moisture content in the outflow material. Twin Screw Mixer both dry or wet type are offered for better mixing of several solid powdery materials for various process applications.
